OSSN President Gary Fee said the group will hold its first trade show and forum for the home-based travel agency community in 2010.

He said the event would provide "an expanded dimension in training and education" to his member travel agents as well as others, both home-based and brick-and-mortar, who are interested in expanding their horizons.

The three-day event will make its debut at the Town & Country Resort and Convention Center in San Diego on May 24 to 26. Fee said the venue was chosen for its "excellent meeting facilities, for its convenient location, and for its long history of hosting successful conferences."

"The travel agent distribution channel with suppliers is vitally important to our industry. As an officially branded OSSN event, we will make every effort to guarantee that this event will offer the most comprehensive education and training," said Fee, who plans to moderate a general session and several key niche panels.

OSSN has nearly 8,000 members in 75 chapters. According to Fee, the 2010 show will be open to all agents and suppliers. Interested parties can contact OSSN corporate headquarters at (941) 322-9700.
